Leeneia, We're from St. Louis, MO. Many years ago, there were several Native American burial mounds along the river here in St. Louis. It was known at the time as "The Mound City". Since then, as Americans are wont to do, we've built a highway over the mounds and only one remains in our region on this side of the Mississippi.

Hi, Sean. I listened to your music and like it. Thanks.

Are you from Mound City, MO, on the Missouri River, where the Squaw Creek wildlife refuge is? Or is Mound City a nickname for St Louis?

The Mound City Slickers (the old-time string band I play in) got a bit on our local radio. KDHX FM 88.1. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Slickers Spotlight
