Subject: RE: Brian Dawson - 75 today From: GUEST,OldNicKilby Date: 18 Aug 14 - 06:46 AM There is a move to compile recordings of Brian and produce as many C D's of his songs as possible. If you have recordings of our beloved Brian please let me know. "nic@linic.co.uk". Richard Smith is heading the team with Martin Graebe, Bob Bray, Derek Scofield , Me and several others. Lovely to see the responses and yes Roy he was a wonderful Bloke and Singer P S I am 75 today we almost went to the same College. We took Brian for a Chinese in Lincoln one night, Richard, his nephew was truly amazed as Brian was a "Meat and 2 veg " man. We discussed ages, and Brian decided he was much older than me, just 2 days was the outcome |

Subject: RE: Brian Dawson - 75 today From: GUEST,George Frampton Date: 18 Aug 14 - 12:58 PM I have recordings made in The Volunteer at Sidmouth. Martin Graebe is aware, and I believe he is coordinating any other's recordings. As per custom, Brian (and others) was recalled in our 'silent toast' during FolkWeek. I also understand his mummers play collection is also being reviewed. |
