Only managed to get to one singaround session there this year due to working away. A shame as it was a delightful session....usually only 7 or 8 people there but that meant your turn came round several times!

I used to go there after Military Fitness, arriving sweaty and filthy and changing in the toilets before showing my face in the blue room!

The Beacon Folk Club in Tunbridge Wells will be closing in September. The club (and The Beacon Hotel) has been run by two great folk music enthusiasts and talented performers, Di & John Cullen. They will be retiring and are selling the business.
Folk enthusiasts in our area owe them a huge vote of thanks for their dedication to the folk scene over decades.
