Sean O Riada documentary?

Several years ago, PBS aired a documentary about the life of Sean O Riada. I happened to think about it last night, and thought I might look for it today, but I can't find it anywhere. All I can gather is that maybe it was called A Vertical Man?

Anyone have any ideas?

Possibly the documentary Seán Ó Riada : Litir ód Mhac not sure what title they gave it over thee.

I don't think so - this has been probably 10 years ago, at least.

I know I've seen it but I'm not sure where. The one Peter refers to was aired on Irish TV in 2011 as far as I can tell.

Maybe. I'll need to do a little more digging. It sounds like it could be, from the description. I would have thought it would be on the PBS site somewhere but I couldn't find it there either.

Mise eire is the 1959 film O'Riada composed the music for. The 1999 documentary above is a different thing although the listing throws in a few extra keywords to attract more views, Mise Eire one of them.
