Someone very kindly sent me a lightscribe printer. I have an older computer..second hand IBM...I only use it to copy cds now using Nero. Sometimes I can do it quickly and sometimes it takes forever...but anyway, I am getting a stack of lightscribe cds to imprint.

Could someone walk me through it? How do I get the cover designed? I am not at the computer now. Does it do the printing and copying the music at the same time? It will make the cds (which are given away for good causes) much nicer but I really need help I think.

Step by step and pretend I know absolutely nothing about copying cds..which I admit to having an abnormally hard time doing for some reason.

Lightscribe seemed like a good idea, but I never bothered with it much. I have a couple of computers still that will do it. A Sharpie pen for writing on DVD/CD is about as much label as happens on my disks. They do look nice (in a one-color format) when you figure it out.

I tend to do a run of burning in the music and then a run of burning in the lightscribe "label" - otherwise you have to flip inbetween... and on my computer you have to trigger the operations sepeately - so it's easier to do in batches.
