It sounds like there is still room..just google camp alexandra white rock vfss....it is right over the border so not too far from Seattle etc. The great thing about this camp, unlike most others, is that it is very easy to get to by public transportation...just go all the way into vancouver by whatever means, catch the city buses back all the way down to camp alexandra...have to change buses now..used to go all the way down.

from seattle, you can also get out closer to border but would have to arrange to be picked up unless there is a local bus that meets..i don't know anything about that. my plan was to take the bolt bus from seattle all the way in, then take the two buses down..it was great when one bus used to take you...but now i am lucky to have gotten a ride.

anyway, this is very doable from portland, seattle, etc..takes a while but you'll get there.
