Subject: BS: Cat antics From: olddude Date: 04 Sep 14 - 04:39 PM My cat now has a new buddy. The monster size raccoon. Found her laying next to it on my porch linking it's ears.. No worries raccoon and cat both had shots for everything. I gave the raccoon the pellets with the vaccine. My kids a vet. She is the same cat that fell in love with a skunk . Crazy how creatures get along unlike us on mudcat |
Subject: RE: BS: Cat antics From: olddude Date: 04 Sep 14 - 04:46 PM She is an American bobtail. Eight toes and a stump for a tail crazy thing. She will drink my coffee if I don't watch her when I am outside with my cup.. Go figure |

Subject: RE: BS: Cat antics From: gnu Date: 04 Sep 14 - 07:04 PM I would like to see pics, Dan. I have few of my three. Well, the ex's cats which I trained well and which were good friends of mine. The last one was essentially my cat from the time she came to me from under the bed when nobody else could get her out. I said, "I'll get her from under the bed... as long as you leave and shut the door behind you." In less than one minute, the scared kitten, new to our house, was purring on my chest. I know some people pooh-pooh the cat deal. I get it. But, your loss. |

Subject: RE: BS: Cat antics From: Claire M Date: 05 Sep 14 - 12:25 PM Hiya! Ahhh @ your cats!! I still miss my Oscar. He was lovely – he'd wow to be lifted onto my bed cos he couldn't jump up, & he'd snuggle up to my r leg, keeping it warm. He'd knead my stomach w/ his bent paws, too. he could just about manage to walk outside to go to the loo, sometimes he didn't make it, poor lil boy. |
Subject: RE: BS: Cat antics From: SINSULL Date: 05 Sep 14 - 12:30 PM My Lizzie befriended the neighborhood groundhog. Lizzie babysat while Momma went off for a break. I have pictures of Lizzie with her herd of baby groundhogs. You took your life in your hands if you went near them. She took her job seriously. |

Subject: RE: BS: Cat antics From: LadyJean Date: 05 Sep 14 - 11:48 PM My first cat was a big longhaired male, a descendant of a Maine coon. He weighed over 30 pounds. We also had, for a while, a belgian hare. We fenced off part of the yard, so the rabbit could be outside in good weather, but bunnies are escape artists, so he'd try and sometines succeed in escaping. Unless we put the big cat out there with him. Then he'd stay. He just wanted company. |
Subject: RE: BS: Cat antics From: GUEST,punkfolkrocker Date: 06 Sep 14 - 12:01 AM When I was a small boy I loved cats... I used to imagine my tortoiseshell was a reincarated Egyptian princess who was locked in an eternal wicked dark magic spell.. But as I grew to be a man I sadly found cats to be untrustworthy treacherous despicable enemies who would claw, and piss and shit in, everything I held dear... raccons and skunks sound cool though..... All I got in my backgarden are slugs, snails and effin cats... |
