News for Sheffield and South Yorkshire folkies. Our guest this coming Tuesday 16th September is well-known folk performer and songwriter Richard Grainger. Middlesborough lad Richard has forged a notable career in the folk world over the last few years, performing at clubs and festivals here and abroad and on radio. Respected as a solo artist he has also played with many of folks better known performers and penned many songs which have been performed by many of his contemporaries. Richard has also written and performed many musical plays which have also helped to consolidate his reputation as a singer/writer of some note.
Get along to see Richard this Tuesday at Kiveton Park Folk Club. Kick off at 8:45 admission £4. See you there!!
