Jean Ritchie appeared in the Hollywood film NEXT OF KIN (1989) in a small part, and in the KET documentary MOUNTAIN BORN: THE JEAN RITCHIE STORY(1996). Also appeared in other documentaries, such as THE LEGEND OF LIAM CLANCY (2006).

What additional films did Jean Ritchie appear in, and are any available on DVD or online ?????

She also appears in the Alan Lomax BLUES,BALLADS, AND BLUEGRASS. Here husband George Pickow did the cinematography, and I believe that Jean was the soundman, as well as performing.

There's lots on YouTube, old and new. Her simple elegant style is striking, and compares favourably with over busy styles of today.
