Subject: RE: The Góilín Song Project resource From: False Lankum Date: 05 Nov 15 - 07:10 AM "Reminds me of the final delay as the official release of his 2 CD set on Napoleon was due - the booklets wouldn't fit into the case! Regards" I remember hearing that they had to use the finest paper possible in order to make this booklet fit into the CD case. The stuff they finally used was the same as that used in the Gideon bibles. Mine still rips a bit more every time I take it out! A very impressive piece of work... Ian |

Subject: RE: The Góilín Song Project resource From: MartinRyan Date: 02 Oct 14 - 04:12 AM It's back online... teething problems. For those who have never been to the Goilin, it gives a great sense of how the club operates - be sure to watch the video interviews with some of the founders and early members. The approx. 700 songs from 200 singers give a vivid picture of the strength of the Irish singing tradition. Regards |
