There was a time when Germans had this idea of making people wear things so they could be identified, so no wonder labels are not the done thing. Mind you, when I lived there, Germans could be identified by mullet hair and dodgy moustaches...

I've always been a bit wary of abstract entertainment being used to assume a political view.

I lived with a folk musician in Germany for a while,and over there they seem to be admirably anti-Fascist ( not unnaturally) without the need for funny tee-shirts or other manifestations of their beliefs.
