It appears the original poster has a sincere, honest request. They provided details IF...Mr. Welch... is willing ... the door is available... Mudcat is NOT a "pirate portal." Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Play a tune, a merry tune From: GUEST,Darlodave Date: 06 Oct 14 - 04:40 AM Song heard in The Britannia Pub, Tuesday night 16th Sept time approx 10-00pm. Sung live by George Welch who lives on Tyneside, North East England. I would like the lyrics so I can learn the song to sing at folk nights. No I wasn't drunk, as I drive could only have one beer. The tune was very catchy with lovely lyrics. Hope that answers your questions. |
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Play a tune, a merry tune From: GUEST Date: 05 Oct 14 - 08:57 PM Where did you hear it? Location, date, approximate time? How did you hear it? Live or recording (bootleg or commercial)? You write "Tyneside" and "Welch" what country? WHY - do YOU want the lyrics? (this can make a big difference in how deep, and how long the "searchers" seek) Were YOU drunk, or otherwise compromised at the time of engagement with the "tune?" |
