I note from the official site that there will not be an annual weekend festival for the foreseeable future.

Pity, it's been one of the major events in my calendar for some years.

I take it the last post was some sort of joke...

Deal Folk by the Sea often/usually coincides with the Braderie (annual street market), but I can't remember if it always does so. The Braderie is apparently set for Sunday 20 September 2015, so 19-20 September is possible.

I realise there is no guarantee that the festival will go ahead. I'd quite like a weekend in Deal anyway, but I don't want to book a weekend and then find the festival is another weekend.

So if anyone could kindly indicate which weekend end it would be (if it happens), that would be appreciated.
