Are you the person who once rang me up asking me to recommend a ceilidh band for a wedding just a week away?

October is far too late to arrange gigs for December. Most clubs are already booked through to February at least, many until midsummer.

Thanks Tim for pointing out that we are still very much a going concern.

We have Christmas concerts this year in Oxford (Holywell Music Room, as always), Woking, Towcester and Ringwood - full details here.

We could probably squeeze in a London date if someone were to make us an offer!

Dear All London Folk Club organisers.

Please will someone get Magpie Lane down for a Christmas concert? I know they played Islington and brought down the house.

It would be so good if someone did, I'll bring everyone!
