Not a good post, Jack, nor a suitable place for it.
I remain furious with the man for the way he has defamed my character on Mudcat for untruthfully calling me a liar and worse. However, I would never want to interfere with any performer who is trying to publicise their gigs. That, after all is one of the functions of Mudcat.

This tendency for bad feelings from one thread spreading over to another is taking Mudcat in a negative direction.

I have good memories of my time in Suffolk, running Bury St Edmunds Folk club, having guests john and julia clifford,Peter Bond,Nic Jones, and of course the one and only Casanova Willie

I had a most enjoyable time and also did some floor spots,Idid spots at at Dartford, Cellar upstairs,Chadwell heath folk club, Dartford was packed about 100 people,Dartford has been run by Alan and Pam for over 40 years.

the standard of floorsinging was high at several clubs notably cellar upstairs, where Tom Paley did a spot.
