The British Legion have been sold the idea of bastardising Eric Bogle's Green Fields of France and using it in their fund-raising campaign. The result is, in my not over-humble opinion, musically dreadful and an insult to a fine song-writer (who was not consulted in the matter and is understandably upset). Wot going on!?
