I also had the pleasure of listening to Jody do his floor spot at the Bothy, thoroughly enjoyable. He is a nice guy & a cracking Anglo Concertina player.

We booked Jody at the Herga club after he dropped in for a floor spot, and he gave us a great evening - sadly it was the last time I heard Ralphie play, as Jody was staying with him and he joined in for some of the tunes. I've also seen Jody at a Haddenham concert - you're in for a good time on Friday though unfortunately I won't be able to join you!

As Frank Sellors has commented he was a fresh breeze at last Sunday's Bothy Singers Night. He won us all over with his musical skills and upfront stage presence. I'm sure Southport won't have seen the last of him.
Floor-spotting just for the heck of it was an old practice that often led to gig-getting in the glory days and I see nowt wrong with it now. I see he was at it again last night in Stockport - commendable.
A new name to me and I'm supposed to be in the know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jody did a couple of numbers at The Midway, Stockport on Monday, when James Keelaghan and Hugh McMillan were the guests. He was excellent and I would have loved to have heard more.
