Subject: BS: David Moyes From: MGM·Lion Date: 16 Nov 14 - 08:31 AM Glad to read that David Moyes has got another managerial post. He has always done well, except in that one unfortunate placing, where he never really settled in; for some reason his face just didn't fit there. He must have regarded his unhappy months in that job as a sort of slavery. In fact, I bet he was relieved to receive manumission from his Man U mission. ≈M≈ |

Fergie a very hard act to follow, got out on a high knowing that there is only one way to go when you are at the top. |

Subject: RE: BS: David Moyes From: Musket Date: 16 Nov 14 - 01:03 PM Oy Co Messiah. They got Rooney from Everton. I loved how the red mist came down after the own goal and he played a captain's attack, was brought down in the box and blasted the penalty. All within a minute or so of the goal at the other end. Moyes had access to funds at Everton to attract good players but he seemed happy to be a mid table so so, getting average players to play above their ability. He came unstuck trying to work with the best. Not surprised he didn't do much at Old Trafford really. He could do well dropping a league when he returns home. He reminds me of Dave Bassett. Excellent with mediocrity but mediocre with talent. |
