Presumably your tablet has a browser so simply using webmail should be an option although the small screen size may be an issue.

I would have expected it to come with a generic email app (my smart phone certainly did).

Is there an app for that? Do a websearch for vrgin.net email app and see what comes up.

A few months ago I bought a Samsung Nook eReader tablet and wouldn't leave the Barnes and Noble store until all three of my email apps and Facebook app were on it. Then at home I added Mudcat, my state's library system app, and my local newspaper's obituary app. If virgin.net has an app, the website should tell you how to add it to your tablet.

In the meantime, maybe someone will come here and give you more help than I can.
