Don't ya just love improvements from Micro$oft? What a relief. All my Folk and Stories websites are compiled using macros! Humungous amounts of it. |
Subject: Tech: Office update Dec 11 - macro problems! From: GUEST,Mr Red Date: 11 Dec 14 - 10:08 AM Anyone using macros out there? At a volunteer organisation they have Office 2007, 210 and from what I think is 2003 on different machines. Recent (10:17 am GMT) updates rendered all command buttons inopperative. Nice one Micro$oft. The tame network gurus here rolled-back one machine and BINGO - it all works .................. until some neat and tidy mind thinks to switch off the machine or click on a Micro$oft directive to improve the machinr - HA! Two programmers on different programs have this on their spreadsheets. Given that there is only one type of button you can put on a sheet and it can be rendered useless I don't see any solution/workaround that is acceptable to give it to a naive user. Any other texhies seen this yet? |
