Some bloke in Scotland,

It's a while since we were at The Lord Conyers, possibly 25 years. However the spirit continues at Kiveton Park Colliery Cricket Club where we've been for at least 13 years. Happy memories of the Conyers, which has sadly been demolished to build some 'desirable residences'. If there's a good bus service from Scotland, you might make it to see Bill and Dave tomorrow night!!

Information for South Yorks folkies. Bill Whaley and Dave Fletcher are our guests at Kiveton Park Folk Club next Tuesday, 16th December.
Wonderful night promised with these two guys, who have made a considerable reputation on the club and festival circuit over the last few years. Expect some great harmony singing, expert musicianship with banter and wit aplenty. There will be, as usual with Bill and Dave, loads of opportunity to get your gob around a few rousing choruses. Friendly club, nice folks, free grub and reasonably priced bar.Kick off 8:30. Entrance fee £7 for non members.
To avoid disappointment, newcomers/non members could phone Andy on 01142879592 to make sure there will be a seat available.
