Mark,
Did you ever get a chance to read "The Barrie Humphreys Book of Innocent Austral Verse", published when he was in his twenties?

John

There are a lot of pages but there are also 150 working songs and poems so they take up much of the space ... because it is a thesis it also contains some pages of bibliography too, not to mention an introductory argument and conclusion!

I think the text size also increases the number of pages compared to an ordinary book ... although that makes it easier to read as we get older !

cheers

Mark
