OLD SCOTIA FOLKIES RECONVENE
The 1960s and 70s glory days of Ye Old Scotia Inn, Stockwell Street, Glasgow, and its place in the story of Scotland's Folk Revival, are celebrated in a chapter of a new book, Dear Green Sounds, about the various musics and venues of Glasgow.
Glesca singers Anne Neilson, Arthur Johnstone and Ewan McVicar are convening on the evening of Saturday 19th April to reminisce and argue the facts with what is likely to be a rather rowdy chorus-singing audience.
