Many years ago a friend gave me a tape of Albertos Y Lost Trios Paranoias. It was a superb p**s take on contemporary styles of the day. It was songs such as Old Trust, a superb take off of Barry White, Neville but not much of their "normal" punk rock.

I would love to get another copy as my tape was played to destruction.

Does anyone have a copy.

Albertos Y Lost Trios Paranoias did about a half dozen albums.

Old Trust (but the poster misspelled the group name)

Thanks #. I had seen this on You Tube. I cannot recall the title of the album (I had a tape from a friend) There was one bit on it which I always found highly amusing which was the trial of Geoffrey Barnsley for wilfully, wantonly and with malice aforethought notwithstanding refuse to BOOGIE!! Come on Barnsley get yu're trousers back up.

If anyone out there has a copy .................. any chance of a copy?

Saw them at Sheffield Poly back in the day. I recall them having props such as a pistol with a pair of balls hanging from it. They said it was the sex pistols.

Off the top of my head, didn't they do "Beware of the flowers cos they're gonna get you. Yeah"? Or was that John Otway and my old mate Willie?

Saw Alberto in Manchester University - the road crew were dressed as Nazis and the lead singer wore a gigantic phallus with a huge face. Excellent!

i remember -well don't seeing them at stirling uni in 77/78. a friend as the entertainment secretary had booked them so we ended up in their dressing room, both hopelessly drunk/stoned. i can remember the band -quite rightly-ruthlessly taking the piss but the next day someone asked me 'remember when they brought a 10 foot fanny on stage?' 'no' that's how drunk i was. anyway, i'm going to look at the links above now to see what they looked like for the first time since then...

The link I provided was to an Albertos 2-CD compilation which features the entirety of 'Italians from Outer Space', the album which includes 'Old Trust' and Neville.
