Yep. Pretty busy weekend. Ceilidh, MCing and concerts spots.
Buggering off to Chippenham to earn some money on Saturday night.

Yes. In the Late Night extra on Friday night. Then singarounds at the Plough on Saturday evening and the Muggery on Sunday lunchtime.

And the rest of the weekend's my own! :-)

Excellent, good to know so many friends will be dashing around at Upton as usual! Hope to hug & hear you over the weekend!

Can someone please have a quiet word with the Weather Gods?

"Happenstance " Border Morris are availing themselves of my services as a drummer on Sunday (although my starboard oleo is not up to the actual procession ; I'll just be playing outside the pub ) ; I'll also bring my guitar and hope to accompany you on some tunes, Noreen !

Indeed it was good, particularly when the rain stopped and the sun came out- by, it was cold in my tent on Friday night! I survived the rest of the weekend with the loan of thermal undies from Annie and blankets from Andrea and Mandy :)

So many friends there, some I saw but didn't manage to speak to, some who didn't recognise me in disguise, and some I didn't even see, bubblyrat! Shame we missed out on a tune. I now play Da Slockit Light at your prompting- maybe we'll get to play it together sometime.

Thanks to the organisers and to all the lovely people who share their music, time and good company!

Yes, a shame, Noreen !! But I saw a few familiar faces whilst playing in a "session" in the White Lyon (front bar) ; Richard kindly sang "Bugger Bognor" for Nicola (who likes that kind of song !) although Hilary was elsewhere, sadly.I also saw "Lefty", which is always nice, but we didn't play; I was with "Tradsinger" and we did lots of tunes and he played his rare Bflat melodeon a lot.We ("Happenstance") were booked to dance out at Sudeley Castle yesterday, so regrettably missed out further on seeing old friends . Oh yes ! --- and of course I saw "Lemonade Lady" on Saturday !

Roger
