I have been trying to find out the dates etc. for this festival or, indeed, if it was even on. Today I found this website with all the necessary information:

http://www.hull-folk.co.uk/

Apologies!

I was fooled by the new dates at the top of the front page - the content appears to be from the 2014 festival.

So we are still in the dark.

Perhaps Steve Gardham can reveal all?

People are working hard to finalise the details for Hull Folk Festival. There should be a maritime based concert at the Hull Maritime Museum on the Saturday afternoon. Singarounds are likely to be in the Black Boy (afternoons) and Minerva (evenings). Of course there will be lots more but these are the things I'm involved in.

Try 14th - 16th August. Les knew this of course but he's too modest to say anything.

I enjoyed it last year but I won't make it this year as that weekend clashes with the start of our FEVA(festival of entertainment and visual arts) festival here in Knaresborough. We have a Saturday session in our usual Tuesday venue, the Cross Keys.

Maybe next year.
