I'm trying to find this song which summarizes the latter part of Matthew Chapter 5 in the Sermon on the Mount. It is on a Columbia Dave Brubeck album called Super Sessions, this track also including Addiss and Crofut. I don't think it is on any of Addiss and Crofut's other albums.

According to AllMusic.com, the title of the album is "Summit Sessions" from 1971.

There is another description of the album at DaveBrubeckJazz.com.

But I haven't found an online recording.

I recall that most of the verses were in the format "You have heard that it was said by men of old, "...", but I say to you "..." " in the format of that portion of Matthew chapter 5.   I thought it might be useful in church use and I recall liking it. Peter, Paul and Mary are also on this same LP with the Brubeck group with "Because All Men are Brothers", there are tracks with Leonard Bernstein, Benny Goodman and others.
