Subject: Lyr Req: Dillards - Pretty Polly From: GUEST,WMRambler Date: 27 Jun 15 - 03:09 AM Does anyone happen to know the lyrics to the version of Pretty Polly done by the Dillards on their "Live... Almost!!!" album? Most of the lyrics I've found contain a majority of the song, but I get confused on the first and last verse. It sounds like (to me): First Verse: "Willie lived in london, a city built in town (x2) and met a beautiful lady, her beauty never been found" Last Verse: "He threw a little dirt over her and turned to go home (x2) leaving nothing behind but the wilds birds to roam" Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
