Sir Nicholas Winton died today at the age of 106. He's the amazing chap who'd kept a secret for years about how he'd saved nearly 700 Jewish children from Chekoslovakia (sp?) just before the Germans took them away to the death camps.

My friend Bob Chiswick wrote this song about him.

Ray

A true hero, a man to be respected.

And Bob's song, 'A Life Worth Living', is a wonderful tribute.

One of the really good ones. Definitely a life worth living. Think of all those alive today as a direct result of this man's actions.

Thanks for posting this Ray.

An incredible man who performed such an heroic feat in a time of terror (familiar?) and then just let it be...

until his wife discovered his scrapbook 50 years later!

Bob
