Burnley Folk Club is still running almost exactly 50 years later: every Friday, 8.30pm at The Woodman, Burnley- everyone welcome. Subject: The Pendlefolk From: GUEST,Gin Crewe Date: 03 Jul 15 - 01:12 PM Anyone remember The Pendlefolk, from Burnley area,in the late 60s? They have reformed to do a definitely one-off concert Thurs 20.8.15 at Ightenleigh Club, Burnley in aid of the British Heart Foundation. They sang wonderful harmonies and set the standard for many other groups.I still know all the songs from their LP (remember them, folks!) off by heart. |
