At Hartlepool Folk Festival we are celebrating the incredible legacy of Birtley Folk Club with a special concert. One Night in Birtley is hosted by Doreen and Brian Henderson, and features festival patrons The Wilsons, plus Bill Elliott, Ed Pickford, Pete Wood, Johnny Handle, Doc Rowe, Bob Davenport and a host of other special guests.

Birtley Folk Club closed its doors in December 2014 for the last time, after 52 years. This informal event will be full of stories, memories and fantastic performances.

It takes place on Friday, 16 October. Day and weekend tickets are available from www.hartlepoolfolkfest.co.uk, or without booking fees from the Box Office on 01429 890000.
