I wonder how many Mudcat folks attended the 1964 Mariposa Folk Festival at Maple Leaf Stadium. This was my all time favourite folk festival and I have attended and played at many of them over the years.
Some of the performers were: Mississippi John Hurt, Rev. Gary Davis, Skip James, The Greenbriar Boys, Joni Anderson (later Mitchell), Buffy St. Marie, Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Kines and David Rea played with many performers.
How many of you were in the audience. Where did you sleep? Who did I miss?

Of those, I've seen Bukka White, David Amram and Taj Mahal. I really wish I'd seen The NLCR. I was a huge fan and many of the songs in my repertoire were learned from their recordings.
