The Derby Heat of the John Birmingham Cup Competition for newly composed, unaccompanied songs in a traditional style will take place on Saturday 3rd October 2015 at 3.00 pm, as part of Derby Folk Festival. It will be held in the Large Club Room, Guildhall, Derby Market Place.
There is a £5 fee to enter the competition, free to the audience.

Heats will be judged around the country during 2015/16 and heat winners will compete in the final at Whitby Folk Week in August 2016.
