Hope there's more than this going, but if not, at least we'll be able to breathe in the "Lion"! Looking forward to seeing you.

Howard and Gill.

Swanage is a great place to visit.

they filmed the nude bathing scene in the Stephen Fry film of Oscar Wilde on the pier there.

And there is a blue plaque on th front, cos that's where Paul Nash (the 1940's 'we are building a new world' painter) lived.

a beautiful place with a great atmosphere for a folk festival.

Went there many, many times when I lived with a certain Dorset artist (shall we say ?) in Christchurch. It was one of my favourite places , and I enjoyed playing in sessions in various pubs there ; one year, one of the venues fed one from a noodle-bar (if you performed) and I performed a lot and ate LOTS of noodles! And playing in the Red Lion with melodeon-player Derek Tarrant was always great fun .

Thanks Hesk and Bob for your songs - and to everyone else who made our weekend in the Red Lion so enjoyable!

Kitty

It was fun, and really enjoyed "Ten Morris Dancers" (did I really say that?)
I have another unaccompanied song which will air soon, AND next year! If the festival survives.

take care and see you soon...

J sends a kiss to black socks.
