Subject: I got my pot! From: folk1234 Date: 02 Dec 99 - 10:19 AM Gotcha, if you thought you could jump in here to champion (or bedevil) the weed. I got my pot, a beautiful hand made clay pot rimmed with a tasteful delicate cording and dated and signed by Mr. Guy Wolf. I love it. I was one of the greedy ones who contributed to the Mudcat Defense Fund only after Mr. Wolf offer a pot. I'm so please I did. I'll plant a proud and graceful basil or tarragon in it next spring. Thank you Mr. Wolf. Do you have a web site that shows more of you work? If so, please post it. |

Put one in water if you have a slow night...It just fades away ..Kat<<<>>> I cant beleave how easily you organise everything... The cd thread and the web site for G wolff & co in two easy hits...Realy I'm impressed.. Subject: RE: I got my pot! From: katlaughing Date: 02 Dec 99 - 09:22 PM WOW! Guy, that is fantastic! Can we say, "We knew him when?" Congratulations! I am officially declaring myself a real legitimate Independent Information Professional. I love doing the research etc., as well as the writing, and now, thanks to AllanC, 1) I know what to call myself, 2) I've found there is an association of them online. I've had a lot of good research practise here at the Mudcat and I thank yew all for it! Happy to oblige. And, really Guy, that is wonderful news. katlaughing |
Subject: RE: I got my pot! From: Little Neophyte Date: 02 Dec 99 - 10:14 PM Guy, if the foamy things are made out of corn starch, can I throw a few of them in my stirfry at the last minute to thicken it up? BB |
Subject: RE: I got my pot! From: folk1234 Date: 03 Dec 99 - 11:08 AM Guy: People who have good days, deserve them! LEJ: We don't need to import that stuff. It's the biggest cash crop in the Ouachita Mountains area of South Eastern OK. And it's tax-free. BB: I had the same thought, but I was thinking gravy. LEJ again: If you want to get a cheap high and excite your neighbors, soak 5 or 6 fronds of fresh rosemary in water for an hour, then put them on a glowing charcoal fire over which you grilling pork chops or chicken. It smells just like the real thing (so I'm told), and it permeates the food with savory elegance. Gee, I sure love these educational threads! |
Subject: RE: I got my pot! From: Lonesome EJ Date: 03 Dec 99 - 12:33 PM Thanks, folk, for the laugh and the recipe!I love smoking pork chops, but it's so damned hard to keep 'em lit! LEJ |
