Gotcha, if you thought you could jump in here to champion (or bedevil) the weed.
I got my pot, a beautiful hand made clay pot rimmed with a tasteful delicate cording and dated and signed by Mr. Guy Wolf. I love it. I was one of the greedy ones who contributed to the Mudcat Defense Fund only after Mr. Wolf offer a pot. I'm so please I did. I'll plant a proud and graceful basil or tarragon in it next spring.
Thank you Mr. Wolf. Do you have a web site that shows more of you work? If so, please post it.

For now, mine sits beside my computer keeping me company. Soon I shall use it to repot a plant I've been growing from a little --Seed (no relations)
Anyway, Guy you sure make grrrrrreat pots.
The design of my ceramic pot was based on a significant historical event and the packing material, oy, you should see the packing material.

Speaking of packing material, "Oy oy, Banjo Bonnie! Christmas came early for my cats. A large box inside a large box, both chock full of white squeeky foam mice.

I'm going to order one of Guy's CD's and play it to the plant I put in his pot. I bet it will grow real big and strong that way. What do you think?

Guess what I'm doing with the packing foam cheezies........?
I'm painting them red, green & gold, glueing sparkles and making them into Christmas decorations.

And I'm using the big box as a coffee table.

Woops. folk, I saw the thread title and thought you were letting me know that you received the little bundle I sent to you from Michuocan. Sorry, now I realize you are talking ceramics.Anyway, do let me know when you get that sensamillian butt-kicking all-organic ganja I sent. Sounds like Guy's ceramic piece will make a fine place to stash it.

Hey you guys!I thought this was going to be a thread on middle age spread not my pots....Thanks so much to all...The squikky things are made of corn starch and so are biodegratable. I am officially declaring myself a real legitimate Independent Information Professional. I love doing the research etc., as well as the writing, and now, thanks to AllanC, 1) I know what to call myself, 2) I've found there is an association of them online. I've had a lot of good research practise here at the Mudcat and I thank yew all for it!

LEJ: We don't need to import that stuff. It's the biggest cash crop in the Ouachita Mountains area of South Eastern OK. And it's tax-free.
BB: I had the same thought, but I was thinking gravy.
LEJ again: If you want to get a cheap high and excite your neighbors, soak 5 or 6 fronds of fresh rosemary in water for an hour, then put them on a glowing charcoal fire over which you grilling pork chops or chicken. It smells just like the real thing (so I'm told), and it permeates the food with savory elegance.

Bonnie , If you try the corn things in your stur-fry and it works I'll tell everyone at the Atlanta and New York gift shows about the great other use for the packing materials...Smith and Hawkens {Who I make alot of my pots for and who pack in the corn starch}Could add a reciepe book with each order sent!!!!Your persentige for the idea will be comming along with the cd when I send it...<<<>>Guy

For example, from "Seven Nights Drunk"
"...twas nothing but a chamber pot me mother sent to me..."
And aluminium smelters have pot lines
And pot shots (no, not mainlining grass...)
