Hi Joe, my E Mail ic martell60@hotmail.co.uk. Not sure if Bronwen & Bryn are related. I just hope I don`t get the same result as when I looked for Mary Asquith & found her obituary. That was a hell of a shock.

Good find, BrooklynJay!

Joe- Perhaps you can connect Bronwen with Bryn Pugh at the same time you connect our Guest with Bronwen. :)

Well, Llanfair's first name is Bronwen, but that's not the last name I'm familiar with....

Joe,

The post below was extracted from this thread.

I feel pretty certain this is the person our Guest is looking for.

I'm amazed that no-one's mentioned the MSG, where everyone washed up sooner or later.

I remember Tony and Arthur, Rosie Hardman, Marie Little, Mike Harding, the Oldham Tinkers, and Harry Boardman, whose club I went to all the time. Whatever happened to Bryn Pugh? He was a distant cousin, I sang under the name of Bronwen Pugh.

Bronwen Pugh posts on Mudcat as Llanfair, though there have been no posts from this person since August, 2013.

Try sending a PM?

Jay

There was a Bryn Pugh who sang around the clubs in Manchester in the mid-seventies - don't know if he was a relation.
He was a member of a singers workshop I was running in Chorlton up to the point I moved to London in 1969.
I'n not sure if he was a member of this forum - he posted occasionally - come to think of it, he must have been a member - we exchanged PMs on several occasions.
Up to about fife years ago he was working as a solicitor.
Good luck Robin

Robin Hunt.
Hi, does anyone remember Bronwen Pugh. She used to sing around the Manchester folk clubs in late 60s/ early 70s.I know her married name was Nettleton but suspect that may not apply now. I sang with Bronwen for a while & would really love to catch up. Any help would be much appreciated.
