Subject: Breezy returns From: breezy Date: 23 Sep 15 - 03:47 PM Like coming home this thought I'ld share the fact that there is a new singing /perofming venue set up in St Albans Herts Its at The Lower Red Lion in Fishpool Street And convenes on the second Sunday in the month Starts soon after 7,30 and ends at 10.00 so its not too late for Monday morning workers who have to go places The emphasis is on songs, preferably with choruses and to sing from the heart, i.e. know the words, as discussed in a recent article in a well known folk mag' the room is cosy and lends itself to an intimate gathering with larger accommodation space available if an when the need arises. There is no charge The pub has a very good reputation for food and is busy during the day Next Song evening is Sunday 11th Oct so on your way back from Banbury........ |
