The problem I see with the fretlocks is that they hold the strings above the frets. This will mean a high action and uncomfortable playing, unless you play slide.

For an aternative design, invented by a Swedish luthier, get on the Fylde Guitars website, click the news tab, go to June 2013 and look at the Nordic Mandola. And drool. Not sure how the capos work; I think you push them into holes in the fingerboard and twist to lock them, but I could be wrong.

Just saw this online a set of 6 Single String Capos is this real? if so has anybody tried them yet?
