If you live in/near Ludlow Eve Loiseau appears at the Assembly Rooms tonight. Her speciality is as a Piaf Tribute.

Christine Bovill does a highly acclaimed 'Piaf' show - think it has been touring Scotland recently? (I know it was at Beacon Arts Centre, Greenock last week)
Worth checking out!

Thanks Big Al: I did go and see i when it came out, but the TiVo box is now programmed so that I can see it again! Love Piaf songs! And it was a very good film.

also catch if you can Bessie starring Queen Latifah as Bessie Smith. they show it now and then on True Movies. Utterly fabulous songs. i can't stop playing them.
