Subject: Songs that change From: Dave the Gnome Date: 20 Oct 15 - 03:34 AM Was lucky enough to get a request played on radio last night. Baba O'Riley by The Who. The theme of the show was songs that change - Can be key, tempo, tune or anything. What would make a good folky list on the same theme? |

Subject: RE: Songs that change From: GUEST,Gerry Date: 20 Oct 15 - 04:55 AM Canadian Railroad Trilogy changes tune & tempo several times. Any song I sing changes key several times, whether it was written that way or not. |
Subject: RE: Songs that change From: Dave the Gnome Date: 20 Oct 15 - 05:02 AM Just an arbitrary rule but I am not allowing medleys! I know exactly what you mean with the second bit though, Gerry. Mine are likely to change key, tune and tempo. Quite possibly words from one chorus to the next too :-) |

Subject: RE: Songs that change From: GUEST,Dave Date: 20 Oct 15 - 06:20 AM Layla |
Subject: RE: Songs that change From: Dave the Gnome Date: 20 Oct 15 - 06:41 AM Is Layla folky or do I not want to start that argument again :-) Not sure if Oh Well parts one and two is suitable. Has a bluesy base but is it really one song? |
