You'll find "Blue Eyes Cryin In The Rain" at the Cowpie Bunkhouse Music Archive, a great resource for C & W tunes in general. Here's their URL:

http://www.roughtstock.com/cowpie/cowpie-song/n/nelson_willie/

Happy twangin!

Are you looking for Black Velvet Band? This would ruin the blue theme, but... Yours, Peter

Thank you Mountain Dog I have the words now thanks to you.My husband and I get together with friends and try to play music and sing the old songs we have a banjo , guitar , and mandolin in our little music fun sessions and therefore need words to songs that we can only recollect only parts of. Peter Timmerman thank you for your response but I think that the song is Blue Velvet Band. I will have to check with the others to see which of the words they remember from it and put the search in with them. Thanks again

The database has both blue and black velvet bands. Does anyone know a) if they're related and b) which came first?
