Taunto and your territory's elf were sent to a meeting room to work this out amongst themselves, each bringing their assembled goodies. Taunto is actually offering her a pipe and it looks like she's accepting it. It looks from here that something is being worked out. Let us certainly hope so, but they're still in discussion, so we shall see. I had left this matter to the Regional Supervisor, and he is in a bit of hot water over this, which can be twice as bad when you're at the North Pole. Please excuse our organizational mistake, Jacqui. This might even work out in your favor if there's no duplication in their bags.

Those elves have been working overtime this week, even though there is no pay for it. I guess they just wanted to make sure that your were gifties were ready to go as quickly as possible.

Anyway, they are ready for dispatch and will be heading out the door today. Rudolph assures me that there is plenty of time for delivery before Christmas Day. I hope so, otherwise reindeer steaks may be on the menu for Boxing Day!

As if I didn't have enough to do Santa has gone off on travels and left me to get some gifts together and get them sent off. In time for Christmas. So on with the winter warmers and off I go.

Enough of this rhyming! Just because I have been recently attached to the Northeast USA sector after serving Santa well in several other countries in what was supposed to be a promotion based on merit, I get told by Santa defer to this American Red Indian in Jaqui's special case, because he knows the the territory better than I do? The case is under review, citing several kinds of prejudice (sex, race, rank, time in service), while both of us are working on the job so that neither one of us falls behind and leaves you without a gift.

And here he is writing you poetry, when it was I who told him that that just by putting "um" after every word in the last line in a poem doesn't make it rhyme. I'll makum him quakeum before I'm through with him!

Gosh, thank you, Santa - that's almost like my pile of works to be read, although luckily most aren't in Cyrillic. I think Rudolph might have been taking typing lessons from one of our cats. I'm very impressed!   And looking forward enormously to whenever the anrhegion can be delivered.

Bonjour mon petit. The elves are working their wee little fingers to the bone to get your gifties ready for delivery. I told them 'drop everything else and do this job tout suite.' Of course, it would have been better if they hadn't literally dropped everything. The mess on the workshop floor took a while to clear up and some of those stains still haven't come out.

We've noted your likes and dislikes and hope that the finished items will suit you down to the ground. Hopefully nothing will upset the customs officials down under and Rudolph assures us that there is still time to get the package to you before Christmas Day.

Just to let you know, my dear, that matters are under way. A senior elf has been instructed to choose the gift, or gifts, for your Yule package. A junior elf has been instructed to check your behaviour record, although I gather there have been no incidents to cause concern up until now, at least.
All is entirely as it should be and we anticipate no problems with a timely delivery.
That's if I can get Rudolph and the others out of the clover patch.

Actually, I have never had a bad or boring Secret Santa gift in all the years I've done this. None of those "Happy Returns Of The Day". Everything worked, fit or didn't duplicate anything I had. Your predecessors have set the bar mighty high. You've got a lot to live up to to be sucSESSful.....

But Mudcatter Santas never disappoint on their appointed rounds.

As in previous years, I have my house Brownies, Hash and McGhee, on the lookout for any elfin scouts snooping around my townshack. Not much gets past them.....
