Many traditional songs have been made into pop, rock, classical and just about every other genre. Hell, the sum output from everybody from Tchaikivsky to Vaughan Wiiliams is based on traditional tunes, and Bob Dylan got plenty of ideas for songs after his time with Martin Carthy. That's before we get to Thin Lizzy.... |
