Maria Dunn and Shannon Johnson were the guests at the Valley Folk Club in Pontardawe on friday 20th November.
What a great performance from these two Canadians from Edmonton,Alberta.
Maria is an evocative songwriter writing about the lives of workingmen and women and recuing them from the neglect of mainstream history. She is also a lovely singer and guitarist.
Her songs are coloured by the marvellous playing of Shannon who also performs as part of the McDades and is Shannon's record producer.
They are near the end of a month long tour of the UK and we hope they return soon!
