Amazon has the Zoom H1 for $100, the H2n for $160, and the H4n for $200. I have an early-model H2, and it has served me well for many years. The microphones are small, but they make a sound recording of quite good quality.
You'll see lots of information on the crosslinked threads. If you want a small recorder with excellent sound quality, pick up one of these.
