Hoagy Carmichael was Radio 3's Composer of the Week recently - a bit of a departure from the usual classical fare.

Five daily one-hour programs covering his life. The first, Nuisance_of_the_Neighbourhood, is available until 15/12/2015.

I listened to a lot of it. Well-crafted songs but occasionally with lyrics that wouldn't go down too well with today's PC brigade. In one of them, the rather patriarchal fellow was threatening to put his girlfriend across his knee! 😄
