I am ready to run the salmon fall run cd. Music is outstanding. Once again I run into problems with the duplicating phase..had similar problems with spring run, but have done a couple of other cds with no problems at all. Spring run my regular great person who had done the duplication was not available, so lots of problems, she became available again, solved the problems, was ready to duplicate the next cd and she has been unavailable. I am very remote from any graphics people and duplicators that I could just see in person, which is obviously what I really need. I am going with CD Baby for now.

Anyway, picture that was going to be on cd itself was perfect I thought..but CD baby says not high enough resolution. If anyone has any appropriate salmon pictures or can find them on public domain or very very cheap I would like to know. What I want is a salmon itself, curled would be great for the circular cd. Celtic design would be great.

What not to have: dead salmon, salmon being caught, bears eating them, fisherpeople, mean looking salmon....something happy and bright and enthusiastic would be great. Fall colors would be great. Spring run has salmon leaping up waterfall with bright blue background so needs to be somewhat different.

Anyway, time is running out. Has run out. Money ran out long ago. So any help would be appreicated. MUST BE PUBLIC DOMAIN OR INEXPENSIVE. I would love some Native American work but I worry about offending cultures etc...I don't worry about offending celts because I are one. What can they do? Refuse to stamp my passport?

This should be in the music section.

well, someone would complain. I am fine with it here.

i should also say that the main part of the picture should not be smack in the middle in the doughnut hole. Something off to side is better. Not dark and gloomy. Something that if you were three years old you'd go mommy mommy fishy and mommy or daddy would buy the cd...no album cover right away, just the cd itself.

also there will be lots of writing at side or bottom...

Hi, mg-
If something's about music, it goes in the music section; so I moved it here.
Didn't we find you a pretty good public domain trout picture? I thought that one was fairly good resolution. Did CDBaby give you specifications on the file size?

Mary, send me a PM. I worked with you on the list, I have done a number of covers for various print projects. I can work on this with you.

M.D.
