"said not enough dpi."

That just means that the picture wasn't big enough and would be blurred if blown up to the size you wanted it printed. Hardcopy printing is done at much higher definition than the display on a computer screen.

To print something a CD cover size your original file will probably exceed a megabyte and look huge on your PC.

Mary has unfortunately had some computer meltdown issues that made the project harder than usual. We have exchanged some files. :)

Thank you, Acme. Mary has worked so hard on these cds and all are for good causes. I'm glad she has your expertise and kindness as a resource.

Hang in there, Mary. You're in good hands!
Maeve

you can put this down below if you want. but i am having the most awful problems getting this darn thing duplicated and getting satisfactory artwork. they did not like the artwork i had planned and gave detailed info on..this is cdbaby....said not enough dpi...and instead sent me a label more suitable for a kindergarten cd..a little fish with polka dots and little waves..like i could have done in five minutes in wordart...my problem is that i don't know the templates or really know photoshop. i have messed around but could not make things work. i really need to sit down with someone in an office with a computer..surely there is someone in seattle or portland. i sdon't care if they are crap artists...i just care about getting suitable stuff on the templates...i will try to watch some videos and try again myself. i don't trust them at cd baby to do uch of anything and i don't have the money really to pay them for the album cover and inserts etc. this cd and the last one have been nightmares..i had a great woman to work with and she just has disappeared really...i need someone else who will do short runs...and get the stuff on the templates. every day that goes by i am losing money that i could be selling. i have basically lost christmas sales.   the music is perfect. it is this other stuff...i am hours away from any known duplication centers..but i could get to seattle or portland. please help if you can wth advice. this has been so awful and cost me so much money in lost sales..i have turned out crappy looking products...i am ust disgusted...
