What is on your Christmas wish list? I am hoping for an electric guitar. Have not owned ones in years and just want to play with one again. Also would like the new Adele album because I think she is a great singer. would Also would like the Kate Bush boxed set. Lots of Books, especially the Massey Lectures. By Margaret MacMillan..... also a good bottle of Scotc h and a case of mixed Trappist beer and a huge chunk of Canadian cheddar. Well, I could go on!
How about you?

A professional quality pedal steel guitar and Robert Randolph to teach me how to play "Voodoo Child" on it.

(There's absolutely no chance I'll get either, but this is a "wish" list, not a "get" list.)

Openly celebrating a religious holidy such as this is in bad taste. Please close this thread. Äafwan.

I know I'm getting a Washburn Rover travel guitar, mainly because Mrs Musket asked me to get it to ensure it was what I wanted. It's under the tree. I got it mainly for our skiing holidays as I can't ski every day these days so sat in the chalet working on songs seems like a good plan.

The wish list, being materialistic for once, would be;

A new AV reciever for the lounge.
A different strap for my Apple Watch
A hard case for my baritone guitar (that actually ruddy fits..)
Bottle of Blandys Sercial Maderia 1963
Big chunk of Hartington blue cheese
A buyer for a few things I don't seem to get around to selling. (iPhone 5s, set of 17" BMW winter wheels with run flats, Jim Harley "Canadian Winter" guitar.)

I'm in the midst of Black Friday to January sales madness..

so already had/having courier deliveries of Stuff I've wanted..
.. and stuff I never even knew I ever wanted... 😜

what I do need to tick off my wish list is a bloody expensive
British factory manufactured Celestion Blue Speaker,
and a sound proofed isolation recording cab to fit it in.

.. and a Big Muff Deluxe fuzzbox..

.. and a Fender Coronado..

.. and a Vox Ac10...

and a ....etc...etc...etc

In all my years, one thing I have never owned, or even experienced using...

is a full size Stack...

They were out of fashion and to be sneered at back in my punk rock/new wave youth..

and too bloody big, loud and impractical ever since...

But I can imagine wistfully posing in front of one...

I do have a 50 watt valve amp head and 3 2x12 cabs though...

But even a single 2x12 is rendered redundant and unwanted at too many venues these days..

hence the Vox AC10 to add to my small low wattage valve combo collection..
maybe I'll get that in next winters sales.. 😜

A decent small guitar that doesn't have as many faults AND fall apart like my Taylor Mini GS . The best thing about it is the gig bag !!

World Peace: not much to ask, eh? (I have a song about it, so maybe belongs above the line.)

I wish that Mudcat would stay online.
For about thirty-six hours just now, I could not bring up Mudcat online and it scared the hockey-sticks out of me. Glad you're back.

Such a centrifugal experience would send them all mushy.
