I think I will..what can they say but no. But the songs..prob 40 when I add a couple more..are just great..from all sorts of people and places...there is something quite unique about salmon songs I think..one thing is no one seems surprised when they sing and dance etc...but except for charlie the tuna most other fish do not that sort of thing..maybe I am wrong...it is for folklorists to figure out and/or shamans.

mg,

Just be aware that each presentation is 45 minutes long, including leaving about 10 minutes at the end for questions and comments from the audience.

I don't see how you could cover 40 songs in that time. If you are interested in presenting, I suggest you focus you paper more narrowly. If your presentation goes well, you could follow up in a future year.

Good luck.

I was thinking more along the lines of themes that emerge
..i can see several, but i think folklorists could probably come uo with dozens..add to the collection etc...

People need to allow time for mail delivery unless it's the postmark date that matters. It's coming fast!
